A-Unit: ENTREPRENEURSHIP FOUNDATIONS Essential Standard: Understand economics, career planning, information management, and communication skills. Essential Standard: Understand entrepreneurship, product/service management, information management, professional development, emotional intelligence, and operations. Essential Standard: Understand market planning and business law. B-Unit: PLANNING AND PREPARING TO MANAGE A SMALL BUSINESS Essential Standard: Understand product/service management, strategic management, and channel management. Essential Standard: Understand pricing, promotion, and market planning. Differentiation of Instructional Levels: Students will have hands-on lab activities, conduct project research, and group/team activities. Measurements Methods: Students who master the course objectives and performance standards will see that mastery reflected in their grades. Attendance: Due to the interactive nature of an information technology class, most students find that attending class regularly is essential to learning the material.
